Over 26 years of Civil Engineering work experience at the Metropolitan Water Reclamation District of Greater Chicago. Currently, he is a Principal Civil Engineer with Area Supervisory responsibility on multiple construction capital projects. Prior to his current position, he has served as Resident Engineer

on several projects, Associate Civil Engineer, Assistant Civil Engineer, Project Contract Administration Engineer; and internship as an Engineer Trainee.

 

Well-experienced in reviewing design plans and specifications, proven long term experience managing all types of construction contracts as a Resident Engineer. Able to effectively manage construction contracts for the successful completion of projects on budget. Capable of managing a highly professional and technical staff, with a supervisory ability to constructors and consultant staff. Effective in written and verbal communication, able to address issues clearly and precisely and convey responses and decisions. Effective ability to perform exploratory activities, collaborative with others, achieves planned goals and missions. Very familiar with designs and construction of wastewater treatment facilities, collection systems, deep tunnels & diversion structures, waterways & locks, stormwater management implementations, flood/CSO conveyance/diversion structures.

 

Registered Professional Engineer in the state of Illinois and Wisconsin. BS, Civil Engineering, MS, Transportation Engineering, Graduate Certificate, Construction Management, Illinois Institute of Technology.

Managed over $2 Billion of wastewater collection, treatment, & stormwater managment projects

  • Construction Wastewater Treating Ultra Violet Disinfection Facility – Resident Engineer (Current).

  • Stop Loges & Diversion Channels and Pumps (NSWRP) – Resident Engineer (Current).

  • 39th St. Conduit Rehab, Phase II bypass Tunnel construction (SWRP) – Resident Engineer (2010-Current).

  • Sheridan, Custer, and Lake Street Sewers Rehab –  Resident Engineer (2007-2009).

  • Little Calumet Deep Tunnel & Stormwater Management construction (CWRP) – Assistant to Resident Engineer & Inspections (2003-2006).

  • Niles Center sewer Rehab & Plum Grove Road Force Main Extension (EWRP) – Resident Engineer (1999-2002).

  • Torrance Avenue Deep Tunnel Part of TARP Syst. (CWRP) – Assistant to Resident Engineer & Inspections (1998-1999).
